A Knight or a MonsterA Knight or a Monster by GabrielRaven
I sat in my pastors office. Pastor Edward Carney was a very good friend of mine, and I’d known him since I was a child. He’d been a great role model, a great spiritual advisor, and a great friend. He, like me, was a practitioner of martial arts and he was also a very gifted public speaker. However, unlike him, I had very little self-confidence. That day, as a mere 18 year old boy, home from college after his 8th week, I truly felt like a failure. Deep down I knew that Dr. Carney would look upon me with disappointment for what I was about to tell him. He sat behind his desk, smiling that same warm smile, and I could only frown in response to him.
“What’s on your mind, Cliff?” He asked me. What was on my mind were about a million different thoughts, fears, and emotions running wild. Had Dr. Carney already heard about what had happened at college? Did he know how I felt about my whole college experience thus far? Perhaps he knew and was just waiting on me to
Jungle Fantasy: Episode 2Two days have passed since Mark first met Sassy the lamia. But right now, Mark wasn’t having the best of mornings. He’d been summoned by the three village elders for ‘a discussion’. The discussion was in reality a stern telling-off for Mark’s lack of ‘contribution’. Mark stood stoically in front of the elders, bearing the lash of their tongues.Jungle Fantasy: Episode 2 by dollysistersmassacre
“And further more Mark,” said the first elder, “we are growing sick and tired of you constant walks through the jungle! It is dangerous and full of God knows what!”
“One of these days,” the second elder added, “your antics are going to get you in trouble or worse, killed.”
“And you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.” said the third elder, “We’ve been trying to teach you OUR ways of life and the way things work in OUR village.”
“But, it seems that our teachings have fallen on deaf ears.” sighed the second el
The light at the end of the tunnelThe light at the end of the tunnel was turned off for Earth Day, March 28th, 2015, and Mr Edwin Smith, the Federal employee responsible, forgot to turn it back on. He was preoccupied, you see, because he was thinking about his retirement party, for Mr Smith’s last day was Tuesday, March 31st, and he was looking forward to sitting around the house all day watching several years of recorded television on his PVR. Unfortunately, he died of a heart attack two days before his retirement, apparently because he could no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel. The light at the end of the tunnel by 914four
The light stayed off for almost three weeks before anyone realized it, when a Mrs Edna Jones called to complain that she could no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel. By then, since no one knew why it was off, everyone was hesitant to anything about it. Bill in accounting speculated that maintenance was working on it and that it would be dangerous to turn it back on, while Hank in maintenance blamed the bean counte
A Life For A Life (naga tf)In the Kingdom of Daque, there were many problems. The kingdom rested on the frontier of the canyons and valleys that were not hospitable to the farmers of Daque. The river Vanus ran between the fertile and the arid lands on the other side known as the Devil's Cradle. However, the humans who settled in found out why no one inhabited the land.A Life For A Life (naga tf) by manymasksmanyfaces
Large ferocious naga lived there. A full-grown adult could reach eleven feet long because of their tail, and they were nigh pure muscle according to autopsies of captured dead ones. They were hairless beasts covered in varying brown scales covering the length of their body except the sandy ones on their bellies. They had the shape of a human in a sense, but the form of a snake corrupted them. Despite having hands, they just had three fingered claws. Their massive constricting tails began where a human's waist would be.
Naga was the present prey for Argus the bounty hunter. Argus built a reputation on his ability to bring down rogue creatures that
Life's New Changes Part 10“…This is a modern fairytale. No happy endings. No wind in our sails. But I can’t imagine a life without. Breathless moments, breaking me down. The bed is getting cold and you’re not here. The future that we hold so unclear. But I’m not alive until you call. And I’ll bet the odds against it all. Save your advice because I won’t hear it. You might be right but I don’t care. There is a million reasons why I should give you up. But the heart wants what it wants…,” sang Selena Gomez over the revolving music tape in the police station, as if to mock Tiffany’s pain. Tiffany knew it was an old song; the successful actress/singer was now in her 60’s and decided to spend her retirement with her family.Life's New Changes Part 10 by fares002

Life's New Changes Part 8Driving around town, Stacey and Tiffany couldn’t find Ryan. It was like he just he disappeared from the face of the Earth. Hours passed without any indication of Ryan being anywhere in town.Life's New Changes Part 8 by fares002
“I don’t think Ryan wants to be found right now,’ said Stacey. ‘I think he’ll turn up when he calmed down.”
“I hope so. This isn’t like him to do just run off,” said Tiffany.
“Well, let’s not forget he just grew four new arms and reacted poorly to it,” said Stacey.
“Mom, don’t defend his actions like they didn’t hurt you,” said Tiffany.
“Sweetie,…” started Stacey.
“What exactly do you expect mom?” Asked Tiffany.
“I expect that you will be the best daughter I could possibly want. I want you to be yourself. I love you for you. What else could a mother ask for,” said Stacey.
Life's New Changes Part 7Walking up to Stacey’s, her mom’s, blue convertible Tiffany touched the hood of the car with her lower left hand. Nodding in knowing that his mother was now with him, Tiffany sighed, looking to her right she looked at the groove of oaks blanketing the large three hundred acre valley near their house. A slight breeze brushed by her face, her hair glided across her face. Taking another deep breath and letting go of her breath calmly, she thought back.Life's New Changes Part 7 by fares002
Growing up all around the Country Tiffany never was able to settle anywhere and gain lifelong friends, which allowed her to concentrate on her studies and do well in school. Graduating from high school she could have chosen any school she wanted to but she decided to move to Champagne-Urbana to go to the University of Illinois on a full academic scholarship. In her sophomore year Tiffany meet Ryan by pure chance. He happened to be walking through the student lounge when he literally bum
Life's New Changes Part 3Tiffany’s tongue hung out of the side of her mouth as she concentrated on the four balls sitting on the maple desk in front of her. Suddenly, Tiffany’s lower arms grab out at the balls, as second later her upper arms grabbed out at the balls, all four hands found their mark and she grabbed all four balls back to her body.Life's New Changes Part 3 by fares002
“Aha! Success,” said Tiffany, grinning triumphal with her accomplishment.
“You’ve gotten so much better Tiff. I’m proud of you,” said Ryan.
Looking over her shoulder and towards the door of her bedroom, Tiffany saw Ryan leaning against the doorway with a smirk on his face.
“What?” giggled Tiffany.
“Nothing, you’re just cute when you are concentrating hard on something,’ said Ryan. ‘You lick your lips and let your tongue hang out of the side of your mouth. It’s just a cute little quark that you do.”

It was trouble enough dealing with one Doctor, let alone two. Peri didn't think she'd have to deal with herself, an other self, a different self. She stared at the other Peri, with her one hoop earring, biker boots, and bowie knife -- Okay, that was just weird...
How someone so tubby could move so fast she'd never know. She concentrated on keeping up with the Doctor and trying to avoid breaking her ankle on the rocks. "'Let's go for a walk,' he says. 'It's a beautiful day,' he says."
Right, walking does not include a 90 degree vertical surface. Her foot slipped and she yelped as she skinned her ankle on a boulder.
"All right down there, Peri?" he called back cheerfully.
"Just peachy!" she yelled back, gingerly examining her ankle. There wasn't much blood, just a scrape. She turned and sat down huffily on the boulder. He could just climb without her for a bit. She needed to catch her breath.
She looked out over the valley spread below them. She sighed again, this time in apprecia

The curtain open revealing an eight year old's bedroom. In the room is a bed, a shelf where books are stored, a drawer beside the bed and drawer on the edge of SL. A few clothes are on the floor. YOUNG ANNA, eight years old, comes running onstage along with ANTHONY, a man in his late thirties wearing glasses.
You can't catch me Daddy!
Oh yes I will!
ANTHONY flies his daughter through the air as she screams with laughter. He flips her on the bed and tickles her as they both wildly laugh. MELINDA, a short, stout woman in her late thirties wearing a robe and slippers along with curlers in her hair enters the room.
Keep it down you two! If we get another noise complaint we are sure to get kicked out of this apartment for good.
It's past your bedtime. Go to sleep now.
That's right we don't want you to snore too loudly in class tomorrow morning would we?
I don't snore!
MELINDA, in a loving w
Centauress Life Part 2Stepping hoof by hoof Jessica started to trot a bit easier than she had since she was changed into a centauress a week earlier. It almost seemed a natural thing for to do. Jessica trotted through the large grassy field that was surrounded by a groove of maple trees that extended for miles around.Centauress Life Part 2 by fares002
Smiling to herself in success, Jessica decided to start to gallop towards the western side of the knee high grass field. Reaching the western edge of the field in less than a minute, Jessica heard a clapping sound coming from her left. Stopping a few feet into the forest, Jessica trotted back out into the field and looked around. Near the tree line to her right, Jessica saw Dr. Roberts standing there clapping. She blushed at the positive attention.
Dr. Roberts stopped clapping and walked over to Jessica. “I’m glad to see that you are starting to be able to gallop in your new form. You have come a long way since you were changed
Centauress LifeSitting in front of her computer, looking through the various job websites intensely, Jessica leaned back. Taking off her reading glasses she rubbed her nose in-between her eyes. “What am I going to do for money? The job market for an educational psychologist was so high when I entered Grad School. But now I can’t find a job if I tried to bribe the school district,” thought Jessica Holms.Centauress Life by fares002
Sighing, Jessica went back to looking for a job as a school psychologist. But it felt hopeless too fine a job as a school counselor. Her local school district was downsizing its work force, therefore, had a hiring freeze for the rest of the school year. The hiring freeze forced Jessica to start broadening her search to school districts farther and farther away from her home in Chicago, Illinois.
“Ugh, I can’t take this much longer,’ said Jessica. ‘Maybe I can at least get a job that allows me to ha

“That’s Sargent Major to you sonny boy,’ stated Mr. Walker as we harshly walked past Ryan as he threw his hat towards Ryan. ‘Now where is our daughter? And what is so important that you said that it was imperative for us to cancel our night’s plan to be here for dinner?”
“Oh, come off the Sargent Major title with Ryan, Jim,’ said his wife Stacey as she walked into the apartment and took off her black leather coat. ‘It’s been what, nine years since you retired from the Army. He isn’t one of your soldiers.”
“It’s a sign of respect for people to call me that Stacey,’ said Jim. ‘Would you stop trying to belittle my 27 years of work within the Army ranks, it is really hard to for anyone to gain the ra

But the Internet will never tell you how it feels to ride a horse.
Or to fall off it.

Up, up to the golden blue sky
To dive into the sea of divine clouds
It would be like the chilly wind's sough
Would it be the same as the roaring sea?
No, it would be better than a shopping spree
Please friend, let me grow my oh so desired wings
So that I can escape those annoying pings and dings

You're feeling good and confident.
You're ready to spit your bile.
Hey, remember that kid?
The one you and your goons beat?
Yeah, him. You didn't hear?
They just buried him six feet.
Caffeine, Nicotine, Needles, and PillsNicotine for the stress,Caffeine, Nicotine, Needles, and Pills by TheseKrimzonFlames
Caffeine to stay awake
Pills for the pain,
Needles keep alive the hope to gain
Some shadow, of this man I used to be
Addicted to the first,
Dependent on the third
Eyes open from the second,
The fourth, you have no idea how much it hurts
How much it hurts, period, to be this man I have become
The first is slowly killing,
The fourth gives me strength to endure,
Gives me hope each day more and more,
That I'll need less and less of the third
The second, however, is a friend, and has been for so many days upon this earth
The first, well, one day it will stop, I believe this in my soul,
But as of this very day, it's something which I refuse to let go
"Now" changes, every single moment
Tomorrow, none of this might matter
I proceed with faith that it will
Nicotine for the stress,
Caffeine to stay awake
Pills for the pain,
Needles keep alive the hope to gain
Some shadow, of this man I used to be
And keep alive, this shattered wreck of who I am
So that I can heal
